Are these old growth big trees more impressive than those near Santa Cruz? Looks like a similar biome.

  First, there is much more space devoted to forest in the Northwest. Most of it is not all old growth, but it’s still miles and miles of trees. Second, these aren’t redwoods; they’re cedars, hemlocks, firs, spruces. It’s colder and wetter here. More to follow.
